Introduction
Prophets360 is a system designed to allow community discussion on Emission rights price forecasting.
Legal reasons dictate that collaboration like this must be done synonymously, and so we will give you a choice of usernames.
When you sign up you will have to enter you best guess prediction for the future price of Carbon.
You'll be given the opportunity to indicate which sector (for example: energy) your business is in, and to create and join groups.
You'll then be allowed to see others' predictions, including group and community aggregates.
Prophets360 is also an advanced version of Alert360 - you can choose to receive email &/or SMS messages to inform you of the accuracy of your past predictions. This would for example allow you to know when the true price of Carbon Dioxide has strayed more than 10% from your prediction.
Pricing
Individual accounts cost £0.14 (GBP) or €0.20.
There is a bulk discount if you wish to buy multiple accounts. Contact us for more information.
Alerts
Alerts are processed at 0900h (GMT). You will only get an email if one or more of your Alerts is triggered.
The email will provide the details of all triggered Alerts and the current price of the stocks in question.
If you would like to receive text/SMS alerts, simply provide your mobile number in your account page.

Glossary
- Prediction

A prediction is made up of a number of coordinates (2-5). Each coordinate includes a price (e.g. €20) and a date (e.g. Jan 2009).
The times between will be joined with straight lines. - Aggregate

Aggregates are the crux of Prophets360 - they encapsulate a group's forecast of price movements within the Carbon emissions market.
They are more than a simple average: aggregates take various things into account, including the involved users' past performance. - Alert
- Alerts are the secondary, but extremely useful, function of Prophets360. As with Alert360, you can be informed by email (or SMS) whenever the market takes unexpected turns.
- (Prescience) Score

The accuracy of predictions can only be seen when the relevant dates have passed.
Scores take two main factors into account: how far ahead they were made (e.g. 2 months), and how accurate they were (e.g. 5% off).
Prediction scores are updated daily. The score can only increase, and only until the final coordinate's date. - Rank

Users are ranked by their average daily score.
Every day users' total scores are divided by the number of days they have been a member. This means that they may drop in the rankings unless they continue to add accurate predictions. - EEX EUA

European Energy Exchange EU Emissions Allowances.
This is the first stock which we have been granted access to. The EEX is based in Leipzig and is continental Europe's largest energy exchange by volume and participants.
